Frost Customers Benefit from the BitLocker Drive Encryption Solution

We’ve been working closely with one of our clients to enhance data protection, encryption, data integrity, and overall cyber security. During this process, it became clear that a solution was required to ensure all information on users’ C: Drives was properly encrypted.

With its additional security features designed to protect and encrypt data, BitLocker Drive Encryption was installed across all PCs as part of our ongoing cyber security initiatives.

Standard build across all machines

As a result, this has become standard built across all machines for all Frost customers, whether your employees are site-based or based remotely.

Recovery Key

BitLocker Drive Encryption uses a recovery key, which, if backed up during activation, can be used to unlock encrypted drives. The key can be stored in various secure locations, including a user’s Microsoft account.

Enhanced Protection

BitLocker Drive Encryption prevents unauthorised access to encrypted data if a hard drive is removed from its original machine. If someone attempts to install the hard drive in a different device, BitLocker will recognise that this drive doesn’t belong and will keep the data encrypted and inaccessible.
