Power outages can occur at any time, sometimes when the majority of your workforce is offsite.
This is what occurred with a client, which resulted in the Frost team implementing an interim solution, whilst a replacement uninterrupted power supply (UPS) device was quickly sourced and installed. Given the urgency of the situation, the Frost team responded immediately, installing the replacement device within 24 hours to ensure our client once again had critical devices protected.
The importance of the disaster recovery process
If and when power outages occur, having planned and tested disaster recovery processes will give you a better chance of ensuring that they don't cause widespread disruption.
